Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows 2 Review

Harry Potter’s last movie premiered in Georgia at 14th of July, on the day of my final exam, which was a big relief, obviously.

Since then  I’ve seen it twice. I’m planning to go again around 25th to see it in English (we get Russian dubs and only one English screening if  we’re lucky)

I have to say I’m pretty much delighted with it, it made me cry, it made me laugh and I had this strange feeling when I first came out of the theatre, it’s like when you don’t really know what to feel, but you know something important is ending.

People react to Harry Potter pretty harshly here, not many understand how important part this saga can take in your life, especially if you started reading it since you were eleven and grew up with Harry, Ron and Hermione in this magical little world, like I did.

Pre-exam post.

So I was planning to take a quick nap in a quiet house which doesn’t happen very often since my sleeping schedule is fucked up, but then I thought I should write something before I’ve changed my mind.

So here’s what I have to say:

Finally, my exam revising year is over, thank Castiel for that!

Maybe I can try and be more social from now on, that’s a good thing, right? LOLJK I’m fine at home as long as I don’t have to study and do whatever I want and I don’t feel like going out at all, (it’s very, very hot) this year has made me more of an introvert person then ever.

So you might’ve guessed that I’m taking National Exams again, this year, like last year.

I didn’t do much good on my art exam last year and then I completely changed my mind about Academy of Art, realising, that after all, there are some other professions except being an Interior Designer that I can try and be good at, besides I had lots of friends in that Academy and everybody knowns it’s the only Academy of Art and it sucks. Big time.

so here I am again, this time I’m even more ready and I chose Ilia State University  (Iliauni as they call it) –Faculty of Arts & Science. I want to be an English Language Major.

I think I’ll do fine.

Tomorrow is my first day, Georgian Language exam.

I’m not worried, I’m never worried about things like these and that’s exactly what my family is always worried about. They think I’m too confident.  Read more…

Thrift shopping

There are two reasons why I love thrift stores:

  1. You can find unique stuff that would’ve never imagined to find, mostly new.
  2. It’s cheap, I save a lot of money (which I don’t have)

Me and Sally were out today. Bought some tees, but most importantly, I wanted to lay a hand on some awesome used books, I know a place were they sell  ’em for 50 tetri (less then 1$)  Read more…

Thoughts From Places: Cemetery

Here I am again, it’s been an year now.

I get up early, expecting it to be all rainy and foggy, but it’s not, it’s so warm and sunny, just like you’d have wanted.

Just because I’m at the cemetery, doesn’t mean it’s not supposed to be a good day, and it is, it’s an amazing day, I’m sure you’d have loved it.

It’s so hot that it’s even disturbing and I can’t seem to be able to breathe. But I’m okay, I don’t cry you wouldn’t have wanted that. Read more…

Red Riding Hood – Review

Read more…

How to be a lazy panda… or not.

My alarm clock woke me up at 10:30, I drank my pills and went back to sleep.

When I woke up again, it was already 11:00, which meant, that I was late for Google Techtalk, which I terribly wanted to attend, but Uni seemed too far away so I went back to sleep. (I’m still wondering how it went) :wtf:

The reason why I couldn’t get up (except the obvious reason which is the known fact that me and ‘early’ mornings just simply don’t get along) is that I spent half evening writing morphology exercises in Georgian and later watched Grey’s Anatomy: Musical Event, Criminal Minds and Torchwood.  TV Shows will be the death of me, I swear. :-X

I woke up at half past two, even though I had no idea it had been raining whole night, I still felt the grey weather in my windowless living room. I felt too lazy to get out of my bed + neighbour had my laptop for some reason,  so I decided it was no need to get up, simply turned on the lamp, which made me feel a little more warmer and continued reading Looking For Alaska by J. Green. :reind: Read more…
